Position Purpose:
The Academic Success and Registrar Graduate Assistant supports the mission of North Central University by contributing to student achievement, retention, and academic operations. Reporting to both the Director of Academic Success and the Registrar, this role has two distinct sets of responsibilities. This role assists in administrative support for Academic Success outreach, resources and services. The Graduate Assistant also contributes to the efficiency and integrity of registrar processes, providing administrative and operational support that enhances the overall student experience. Through collaboration with both Academic Success and Registrar teams, this position plays a key role in fostering student success and maintaining accurate academic records.

Requires Bachelor’s degree with acceptance into one of the graduate programs at North Central University.
Position Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The following information is not meant to be all-inclusive. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Academic Success Responsibilities
- Support Academic Success initiatives for students experiencing academic difficulty, including outreach, connection, resource referrals, and intervention tracking
- Contribute to Administrative support including but not limited to, marketing initiatives, maintaining Academic Success spaces, managing projects and outreach efforts
- Effectively conduct a high volume of outbound calling, emailing and student connection
- Facilitate a welcoming environment for diverse student populations in person, on the phone and in writing
- Assist with outreach for alerts, course concerns, and directing students towards scheduling appointments with staff
- Maintain accurate records and tracking data
Registrar Responsibilities
- Provide support for registrar functions such as course registration, schedule adjustments, and records management
- Assist with processing academic forms (e.g., add/drop, withdrawals, program changes) in accordance with university policies
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of student academic records within institutional systems
- Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding academic policies, deadlines, and procedures
- Assist with audits and reviews of student records to ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation standards
- Support special projects and operational needs within the Registrar’s Office

Additional Details
This position is a one-year position with the candidate pursuing a graduate degree from North Central University. It includes tuition remission, room, and a food stipend for on-campus dining. Anticipated start date: August 1st, 2026
